The DTW Spirit Terminal flight through Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) was surprisingly easy and convenient. Although Spirit is known for its low prices, I have flown on the airline a few times, so I wasn't sure what to anticipate at first. However, the terminal experience at DTW truly impressed me. I was immediately guided to the Spirit check-in counters by obvious signage, and they were manned and operated effectively. The terminal had a lot more life and friendliness than I had expected, and it felt clean and well-organized. Before my flight, I had time to check out some of the local amenities, and even security moved more quickly than usual.
